Kymulga Grist Mill, Childersburg

      This water powered mill was established in 1864 and is adjacent to the Kymulga Covered Bridge. The two miles of nature trails include the largest cluster of white oak trees east of the Mississippi River and the largest sugarberry tree in Alabama. There are facilities for weddings or reunions, including kitchen and barbecue facilities.

Hours: Open daily, April through October

Admission: Admission charged.
