Russell Cave National Monument

The cave was occupied by early humans for almost 9,000 years. Designated a National Monument in 1961, some of the artifacts found in the cave are on display at the visitor center museum. In addition to a hiking trail, there is a trail featuring plants used by the cave’s inhabitants.
Hours: Daily, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed Christmas Day.
Admission: No charge.
