Lakepoint Resort State Park

     Lakepoint is located on the Walter F. George Reservoir, or Lake Eufala. Lakepoint is also located just outside the town of Eufala, which is on the Alabama side of the reservoir. Lake Eufala separates the state of Georgia with Alabama, there is also a Georgia State Park on the Georgian side of the reservoir. Again this is a more fisherman-oriented park, but you do not need a boat or a fishing pole to enjoy this park. Lakepoint has every option a state park has to offer, it even has horse rentals! I have not been to Eufala in some time, but plan to return soon!

Directions:
     Take Hwy. 231, and turn on Hwy. 82 E. Stay on Hwy 82 until you get to Hwy. 431, take a left which will be heading N. Soon after crossing the Walter F. George Reservoir, take a right on Hwy. 165. From there follow the signs.
