Welcome to the Alabama Recreation homepage. This site was originally designed
as a personal site for recreation information specifically on Alabama.
Keeping recreation information in one specific place aided me in deciding
places to go for the weekend when time was available. I originally came up
with the idea a few days before a 4th of July weekend when I could not find
any resorts or hotels in recreational areas with open reservations. I had to
dig through all my brocures and browse the internet for any options that I
was either unaware of or simply forgetting about. This site is now available
to the public, or anyone who lives in the area and may be searching the
internet for something to do here in Alabama.
